Douglas North MHK Ralph Peake wants to keep his job.

He announced this week that he plans to stand in September’s general election.

Mr Peake, the owner of Luminaires and Professional Lighting Design Ltd, entered the Keys in 2015 in a by-election. He was voted in again in the general election the next year.

He is looking for ideas for his manifesto.

’I am available, now, to listen to constituents views on the medium and long term future of the island’s economic and social future, to inform my manifesto for the General Election in September 2021,’ he said.

’The last 12 months have been a very challenging time for us all - the people, communities and businesses of the Isle of Man.’
