A series of public drop-in sessions will be hosted by the Treasury aimed at gathering residents’ views on the island’s priorities ahead of the 2019 Budget.
The informal meetings will be attended by Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan MHK, Department Members Bill Henderson MLC, Bill Shimmins MHK and Ralph Peake MHK and officers.
They will take place between 7pm and 9am:
Thursday, October 18, Ramsey Town Hall
Monday, October 22, Castletown Town Hall
Wednesday, October 24, Manx Legion Club, Market Hill, Douglas
Thursday, October, 25 Peel Town Hall
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan said: ’While the budget-setting process is well under way, it’s important to receive feedback and suggestions about spending priorities.
’These sessions are designed to be informal and interactive, and I urge people to come and offer their views to myself and the Members, to engage and discuss issues of importance.’
