Investigations are continuing into developing a marina at Port St Mary.Village commissioners’ chairman Michelle Haywood said last week she and clerk Hayley Fargher had met representatives from Marina Projects Ltd to discuss the strengths, opportunities and weaknesses of the project.

In March, government approved plans to spend over £80m on developing Manx harbours.

Dr Haywood said a ’wide variety’ of considerations were discussed.
