The northern primary schools’ Christmas Bauble competition raised £560 for BBC Children in Need.

The competition for the best decorated tree decorations was organised by Ramsey Chamber of Commerce, who delivered more than 800 baubles to Ballaugh, Dhoon, Andreas, Jurby and Bunscoill Rhumsaa.

Those taking part in the competition were invited to make donations to Children in Need.

Pupils were very excited to meet the appeal’s mascot Pudsey Bear, who came to their assemblies to collect the baubles and take them to the town hall where they were displayed and judged.

The winners were Harry Warby (1st), Bethany Maddrell (2nd) and Eleanor Lyness (3rd).
