A quiet space at Liverpool Airport, for patients flying in from the Isle of Man for treatment or medical appointments in the UK, was opened on Wednesday by Robert Hough, chairman of Peel Airports Group.
The space has been funded by the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group to give anyone undergoing treatment a dedicated area to wait in before boarding their flights.
The charity plans to open a similar Quiet Space at Ronaldsway Airport in a few weeks’ time.
