Any brightness first thing today will soon give way to cloudy and dull conditions, and a few outbreaks of light rain and drizzle will develop from about late morning onwards. The south or southwest winds will become fresh for a time, with the maximum temperature 11 Celsius.
Tonight will become dry, with the lowest temperature 8 Celsius. Then tomorrow will be a dry day, with the variable amounts of cloud allowing some warm sunny intervals, the best of these in the north. However, a few mist patches are also possible in places. In the brighter spots temperatures should reach 16 Celsius.
Dry over the bank holiday weekend, with increasing amounts of warm sunshine. Some mist is likely in places on Saturday.
