The people of Ramsey have elected two new members to the town’s local authority.
George Monk and Nigel Howard were elected to serve the north and south wards respectively.
Mr Monk defeated Lon Pinkerton by 301 votes to 210.
While Mr Howard received 248 votes to Isle of Man Green Party candidate Daniel Webb’s 169.
Both Mr Monk’s and Mr Howard’s terms run until April 2020.
The total turn out across both wards was just 16%.
The two seats became available following the resignations of Eric Corkish and Patrick Ayres in May.
