Rebecca House, the children’s hospice, is raising money to mark its 10th birthday with a number of initiatives.
Its 10-month campaign was launched in February with the aim of raising £100,000 by the actual anniversary.
As part of this campaign the Manx public are being encouraged buy a ticket for the Big Bunny draw.
The Big Bunny draw is the opportunity to win a massive Easter egg donated by Davison’s Ice Cream.
Tickets are at £2 and available from Hospice, Hospice warehouse and boutique. Other prizes are also available.
The Rebecca House team has also announced a specific campaign to raise £3,000 for an electric profiling bed, which will be used for children at the hospice.
The bed will help children with limited mobility to sit in various positions to get more comfortable. It also helps with their breathing by shifting their body position.
The public are being asked to text RHBED to 70660 to make a donation of £5. This is a one-off donation and Rebecca House will receive all of the donation. At this time only Manx Telecom customers can send a text.
