Residents who are currently off island will be able to return to the island, Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford has announced.

The residents who wish to return will be able to do on selective sailings of the Ben-my-Chree.

People wishing to travel, must contact the government on [email protected], and receive permission to travel.

Only people who have received permission to travel on those sailings will be allowed to do so.

Once in the island, residents will be placed in a quarantine centre and will not be allowed straight back into the community.

They will be required to social distance from others and only be allowed outside for a short period of time per day.

No visitors will be allowed to any person in quarantine.
