The ’reuse area’ at the Southern Civic Amenity Site will stay closed until it can be made safe for the public and when structural damage is repaired.

According to the board that manages the Port St Mary site, work can’t begin until an engineer’s report has been submitted.

The board says it has ’every intention of re-opening the area’ when it has been made safe.
