Emergency services were called out to a collision in the area of the Rest and Be Thankful, Maughold, this afternoon (Sunday).

Police confirmed that the accident involved a single vehicle which had come off the road.

The A2 was one way in the Douglas direction for a short time while emergency services were in attendance.

Traffic travelling to Ramsey was diverted down School House Road.
