Harbour Road in Onchan will be closed for three hours this afternoon (Friday) following a court order relating to an ongoing matter.
Police have confirmed the road will shut between 12pm and 3pm on Friday, September 4, from its junction with King Edward Road and Sunningdale Drive.
The closure is connected to the ongoing death by dangerous driving trial involving the death of Jordan Thomas.
Police said the closure had been ‘formally instructed by means of a court order’.
Residents within the affected area have been sent leaflets containing further information.
Motorists are being asked to use alternative routes while the closure is in place.

Police said that if the necessary enquiries are completed before 3pm, Harbour Road will be reopened as soon as practicable.
