Police attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision in the area of Johnny Watterson’s Lane, Douglas, on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the scene at approximately 4pm on September 2, with partner agencies also attending.

The road was closed for a prolonged period while police carried out investigations and arrangements were made for the recovery of the vehicles.

Police have not released any further details about the circumstances of the collision or whether anyone was injured.

The force thanked members of the public for their ‘patience and understanding’ while the road remained closed.

Johnny Watterson’s Lane is a busy route in Douglas and has previously been the scene of road traffic collisions.
