One of the most iconic front men to come out of British pop and rock is heading to the Isle of Man for a personal show with a difference.
Shaun Ryder, the legendary lead singer with the Happy Mondays and Black Grape, is to appear on the island for a ’talking heads’ show at the Promenade suite at the Villa Marina on Tuesday, November 19, from 8pm.
Shaun, who gained notoriety, throughout the early 90s and later with his drug-fuelled life style and notorious hell raising antics during his near-30 year career in music, will face an in-depth interview, followed by a question-and-answer session, where he will answer queries from his fans.
There will also be the chance for VIP ticket holders to meet with Shaun for a photo opportunity.
Tickets are £25, or £55 for a VIP pass.
Also visiting the island for a face-to-face evening is the former Oasis manager and founder of Creation records, Alan McGee.
Alan spent the 1990s at the forefront of the Brit pop explosion, managing the warring Gallagher brothers and masterminding the rise of Oasis from pub rockers into one of the biggest and most notorious bands of the time.
He will also face an in-depth interview, followed by answering questions from the crowd.
Tickets for Alan McGee are £18 each.
Tickets for both nights are available online from villagaiety.com
