The forecast:

Another cold day, and the winds will soon increase to become fresh to strong. Otherwise the day will be bright, with sunny intervals and only a slight risk of one or two isolated passing snow showers. Any accumulations of snow will be small. Maximum temperature 3 or 4 Celsius.

Tonight will then be cold and windy but mostly dry, with only a small chance of a snow shower, with tomorrow then a very cold day as temperatures struggle to reach zero or plus 1 Celsius. With fresh to strong east or northeast winds it will feel even colder, but again there will be only isolated snow showers and good sunny intervals.

Bitterly cold and windy through to the end of the week, as the east or northeast winds touch gale force. Mostly dry on Thursday, but on Friday outbreaks of snow may develop.
