The Southern Delivery Office in Ronaldsway Industrial Estate will temporarily return to provide customers with a parcel collection facility.

The facility will operate from Monday, January 4, with scheduled opening hours on Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 2.30pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.

Alternative parcel collection sites are also available in Ballasalla, Port St Mary and Port Erin.

The general manager leading the mails divisional strategy for the Post Office, Geoff Rickard, said: ’We have seen huge growth in our parcel volumes this year and are keen to work with as many partners as possible to provide a parcel collection site for our customers. We are looking for applicants island-wide but in particular for Castletown and surrounding areas. The new service provider would be willing to offer an excellent collection service for those of our customers who weren’t in when we tried to deliver their parcel.’
