Caarjyn ny Gaelgey, the Friends of the Manx Language, are holding a Manx language event on Saturday, October 10, from 10am

They are calling it Gaelg sy Gharey - or Manx in the Garden.

Members are going to meet up at the Year of Our Island Garden in St John’s, which is on the site of the old Farmers’ Arms pub.

They will then have an outdoor chat in the sunshine and might do some weeding.

The organisation says all are welcome, regardless of their level of Manx or gardening.
