A toilet block on Strathallan Crescent adjacent to the Terminus Tavern pub is up for sale.

The property comprises a single-storey toilet block, a former waiting room, ancillary storage and a yard.

Chapman Chartered Surveyors, which is managing the sale, said: ’The property has potential for alternative uses such as the sale of ice cream, food and beverages, subject to the obtaining of planning consent.

’The property has an approximate gross internal floor area of 420 sq ft.’

Fitted in 2012 by Douglas Council, the modern toilet block has been deemed surplus to requirements.

Champan’s client is seeking to sell the freehold on the toilets ’on an unconditional and not subject to planning basis’.

Offers are to be sent to Chapman’s offices by hand delivered post or email to [email protected] marked for the attention of Thomas Chapman and must include the identity of the purchaser, its plans for the toilets and evidence of ability to pay.

The deadline for submission of offers is midday on Friday, September 4.
