Rushen Heritage Trust’s new season of talks will kick off with historian Charles Guard’s illustrated presentation ’The Island at War’ on December 6.

In his third talk for RHT, which starts at 7.30pm (doors open at 7) at the Erin Arts Centre, Mr Guard will recount World War II radar stations, secret training, rationing, airfields, refugees from Liverpool and much more - and the talk will also include a look at the Isle of Man’s fortifications over the last 3,000 years.
