The role of museums comes under the spotlight when Sir David Wilson, former director of the British Museum, and Edmund Southworth, director of Manx National Heritage, talk about the changes they have witnessed in the museum world, and their visions for the future on Friday, April 5.
Presenter and interviewer Valerie Cottle, former journalist and editor of many local publications, will guide the discussion through aspects of the role of museums in modern society.
The discussion has been, organised by Castletown Heritage at King's Court Theatre, King William's College.
Doors open at 7pm and the discussion is from 7.30pm to 9pm. Light refreshments are available
