Television viewers in the south of the island have been suffering poor reception.
People who watch television broadcast by the Port St Mary relay have complained about a poor signal on non-BBC Freeview channels.
The Communications Commission says it has been in contact with the organisation that manages the television transmitters and an engineer has been to the site to investigate.
The likely cause of the problem is believed to have been identified and a replacement part is being couriered to the island.
It is expected that the problem will be fixed this afternoon.
