The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Today will be cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain, which will often be heavy, creating some standing water on the island’s roads. Breezy with a fresh to strong northwest wind which will ease slightly during the day with highs of 16 or possibly 17°C.
The rain will continue this evening and tonight, still with some heavy bursts possible. Lowest temperature near to 12°C with a moderate to fresh northwest wind.
Any lingering rain at first tomorrow, will soon clear away leaving the rest of the day dry with bright and sunny intervals developing into the afternoon. Highest temperature around 19°C in the light to moderate west to south-westerly breeze.
Tuesday will be bright with some sunny spells and scattered showers. Temperatures reaching up to 19 or possibly 20°C at best in a light to moderate northerly wind, which will freshen later in the day.
