New parents will be pleased to hear the Bump Baby and Toddler Show will return to the Villa Marina on Sunday.
The show features a wide range of stalls dealing with products and services from health and nutrition to general well-being.
Organiser Siobhan Molloy said she was anticipating the show would again prove popular with between 2,000 and 3,000 visitors through the door at last year’s event and a similar number the year before too.
This year, the show’s 40-plus stall holders will be setting up in the Royal Hall.
Mrs Molloy said they aimed to demonstrate the best in local services and products for the whole family from pre-pregnancy all the way to early childhood.
’We have free entry, amazing give-aways, offers, discounts, activities for children and some great food so the show is bigger and better than ever,’ Siobhan said.
Since it was first staged, the idea of the show was to bring together as many groups as possible in one place.
’It’s very important no one feels alone as a new parent.
’This can be an isolating time so knowing what is available, meeting other parents, and knowing who to ask for help can be a real lifesaver,’ she said.
Stalls include family support groups, breastfeeding information, infant first aid, chiropractic services, photography, nursery furniture, baby clothing and much more.
The free-to-enter charity event has been running since 2014.
Doors open on Sunday at midday and will then close at 4pm.
It is sponsored by Isle of Man Creamery, Poker Stars and Ellan Vannin Chiropractic.
