A local town band will bring their year-long programme of events to celebrate a landmark anniversary to a close next weekend with a grand evening of music, led by a world famous conductor.
Richard Evans will lead the Rushen Silver Band (above) during a gala concert on Saturday, October 19, at the King’s Court Theatre, King William’s College, from 7.30pm.
The concert will mark the end of the Silver band’s year-long programme of performances, held to commemmorate its 70th anniversary.
The concert will feature both the senior band and training band, Ballafesson Brass.
