SCS are celebrating 50 years of successful trading in the island and to celebrate have aimed to raise £50,000 for local charities in 2019.

A huge part of their fundraising efforts have gone towards supporting Wallabies Gone Wild, with SCS proudly acting as one of our presenting partners for the project.

On Saturday, June 29, as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, SCS are hosting a celebration event ’Extravaganza of Man’ at the Gaiety Theatre that will take the audience back over five decades, celebrating some of the most memorable music, theatre and dance from each era.

As part of their ongoing Wallabies Gone Wild partnership with Hospice Isle of Man, the evening will be held in aid of Rebecca House.

The show promises to deliver a fantastic evening of entertainment with some wonderful local artists showcasing their amazing talents.

The evening will be hosted by SCS employee James Turpin and Hospice Young Ambassador Alexandra Slater, who will also be wowing the audience with a performance on the night.

The super talented and much loved Jonathan Eio will be treating the audience to a couple of spectacular performances and Manx Voices will also be putting on a very special performance.

Dance groups Unity and the Mannin Youth Dance Company will be performing some outstanding routines, as will recently crowned British Classical Ballroom Champions Scott Horne and Claudia Lewthwaite.

David Artus will be singing some popular hits from the 80s, and we will also see performances from Ballacottier School, Jack Divers, Alex Maxwell, Mike Bonner, Dot Tilbury and Geoff Corkish, Carol Amphlett and the Young Farmers.

The evening will culminate in a glittering Greatest Showman-themed finale.

Hospice Isle of Man and the Rebecca House team, children and families would like to thank all of the wonderfully talented performers who are giving up their valuable time to contribute to what is set to be a spectacular evening of entertainment.
