A yellow weather warning has been issued for minor coastal overtopping.
The Met Office forecast for Tuesday: ‘Another wet day today, with rain turning heavy at times during this morning before becoming drier during the afternoon, with only an odd shower.
‘The moderate southerly winds quickly becoming a strong south-easterly later this morning, leading to some slight coastal over-topping along exposed coasts at the time of high tide today (10.50am). Top temperature of 11°C.’
