The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Cloudy and breezy at first today, with fresh to strong westerly winds and a risk of patchy light rain. However, any rain will die out by late morning, and the afternoon will be dry and bright as sunny intervals develop and the winds ease. Maximum temperature 12 Celsius.
Later tonight a band of rain will arrive, but this will clear soon after dawn tomorrow, leaving sunny spells and only isolated showers for the rest of the day. Fresh to strong southwest veering westerly winds, with the best temperature 12 Celsius again.
Rain and southerly gales on Saturday morning, possibly severe gales in places, but brightening up during the afternoon as the winds ease.
Then bright and breezy on Sunday.
