The Met Office’s yellow weather warning for frost and ice continues.

The forecast:

A very cold start with some frost and icy patches but a mostly dry day with sunny intervals, just isolated snow showers and light or moderate northeast winds. Temperatures only rising to about 3°C at low levels, but staying sub-zero on the hills.

Dry and cold tomorrow with variable cloud amounts and a strengthening south-easterly leading to significant wind chill. Dry again on Friday but windy, cloudy and feeling bitterly cold with strong to gale force southeast winds and coastal overtopping around the time of high tides.
