The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice.
The forecast:
Another cloudy but mostly dry day, with only a slight risk of a few spots of light rain possible for a time around late afternoon or early evening. Light or moderate northeast winds increasing fresh in places later, with the maximum temperature a chilly 6 Celsius.
Frosty at first on Friday, but a dry and bright day with some good sunshine. Temperatures around 6 or 7°C.
Another cold start to Saturday but largely dry with variable amounts of cloud. Light to moderate south or southeast winds and top temperature 7°C.
