The Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning.
Forecasters say there will be ice and wintry showers.
The forecast:
A risk of icy patches at first, but otherwise it will be a dry and bright day with good sunny intervals. Temperatures will only reach 5 Celsius at best and the winds will remain fairly brisk, fresh to strong from the west or southwest. Later tonight rain will arrive, this falling as sleet or snow on the higher hills, as the winds swing south or southeast and increase strong to gale force.
Tomorrow will then start wet and windy, but the rain will gradually clear during the morning, leaving the rest of the day dry and sunny as the winds swing to the west or northwest and ease.
A poor day on Wednesday, with spells of heavy rain soon developing and strong to gale force south or southwest winds.
