It will rain later today, the Met Office at Ronaldsway says.

It will turn cloudy with outbreaks of rain from early afternoon onwards, turning heavy at times as the southerly wind becomes fresh to strong.

Top temperature around 18°C.

The rain will continue at times this evening and overnight, with extensive hill fog and some coastal mist and fog.

The south to south-west wind will start to ease later in the night with overnight temperatures falling no lower than 14°C.

The outlook:

Thursday will remain dull and damp, with patchy drizzle at times, with some coastal mist or fog, mainly around southern and eastern coasts. Temperatures reaching up to 20°C in the mainly moderate south to south-west wind.

Cloudy with outbreaks of showery rain at first on Friday, but these will soon clear away leaving the afternoon mostly dry with the chance of some brightness breaking through later.

Highs of 20 or 21°C across the north of the island in the light to moderate south to south-west wind.
