The Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning.
Forecasters say there is hill snow and ice.
The forecast:
Rain at first this morning will fall as sleet or snow over higher ground, before gradually clearing later this morning to leave the afternoon dry with sunny intervals developing. Windy with a strong to gale force southeast wind, which will quickly turn to the northwest as the rain clears, and then ease during the afternoon. Highs of 5°C at best, but freezing over the hills with a risk of ice.
Dry and cold this evening with temperatures dipping near to 2°C, before it turns cloudy overnight with rain moving in later. The moderate to fresh southwest wind will back to the south or southeast and become strong overnight.
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain tomorrow which will be heavy at times, and accompanied by a strong to gale force south to southeast wind giving gusts of 50-60mph. The rain will clear to a few wintry showers around mid-afternoon, as the wind turns to the southwest and eases slightly, with highest temperatures around 8°C.
A mixture of bright or sunny spells and scattered wintry showers on Thursday, which will move through quickly on the strong west to southwest wind. Top temperature of 5 or possibly 6°C.
