The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow overnight.
The wintry weather will mainly hit roads above 1,000ft but with a risk as low as 600-800ft.
It’s in place from 1am on Monday to 8am.
A spokesman said: ‘Accumulations are uncertain at present however 4cm to 6cm of snow is possible during the early hours, potentially giving a light to moderate coverage of snow.’
Freezing levels should rise quickly between 6am and 9am to bring a thaw.
And conditions will continue to improve as the morning progresses.
