The weather forecast from the Met Office:

The risk of a few occasional wintry showers first thing this morning, but once those have cleared it will be a dry day with sunny intervals. Also a cold start with the potential for icy stretches on some of the islands roads. Temperatures will only reach up to 4°C at best, giving a risk of ice persisting in sheltered spots throughout the day. A moderate to fresh north to northeast wind.

Another cold and frosty start on Saturday, but otherwise it will be a dry day with prolonged spells of sunshine, before turning cloudy later in the day. The west to southwest wind will freshen by evening, with highs of 5°C.

Sunday will be rather cloudy but tending to be largely dry with moderate to fresh westerly winds and temperatures up to 8°C.
