The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain.
The weather forecast:
Further rain for much of this morning, heavy at times, with hill fog and areas of standing water on the roads. The rain will gradually ease off by mid-afternoon leaving it dry and brighter for the rest of the day, with the stiff southerly wind swinging northwest as the rain clears. Top temperature around 16°C.
Tuesday will be mostly dry and bright with some sunny spells, and just a few isolated showers coming across on a fresh, occasionally strong, west to northwest wind. Top temperature 17°C.
Wednesday will be less breezy, dry and bright with some hazy sunshine.
