The Axnfell fell race takes place this Sunday, starting from the plantation (above Laxey village).
It is the final round of the Callin Wild League and registration will be from 7am for an 8am start (all entries in advance).
The distance is 28km (17.4 miles), the second longest in the league, so minimum age is 18.
The arduous course includes 1,800 metres of ascenbt (5,906ft).
