The Manx Fell Runners club is holdiing its junior fell running championship at Bradda Head, Port Erin, on Saturday, September 30.
The races are for boys and girls aged six to 12 and all the primary and secondary schools have been sent information for children to enter via school.
The event attracts hundreds of young runners as they race around a hilly, off road course.
Chris Kirk of Manx Fell Runners said: ’It is fantastic to see such great sports competing in such a stunning location. There are age specific races for each age group, culminating with the recently reintroduced year 7 [aged 11 and 12] race, taking runners to Bradda Cairn before a fast, steep descent to a finish line in front of the crowds.
Anyone wishing to enter should speak to the contact at school first.
