Onchan AFC’s Lionesses under-12s team made a little bit of history recently when they became the first all-girls football side in the island to win a mixed league.

Under the guidance of coaches Annette Briercliffe and Dave Rees, the team won the Under-12s E League by remaining undefeated throughout the season, beating a number of boys teams en route.
