Isle of Man Centre will host three separate ACU national trials championship events (all over two days) and two rounds of the British Enduro Championship this year.

The Auto-Cycle Union’s 2018 calendar includes the Andy Smith Trial on Easter Saturday, March 31 and the David Craine Trial on Easter Sunday, April 1.

Organised by Peveril MCC, they form rounds three and four of the Wessex Plant British Sidecar Trials Championship (a regular fixture on Manx soil for the past two decades).

A fortnight later, the island also plays host to the opening rounds of the ACU Acklams British Solo Youth Trials Championship on April 14-15 at Scarlett, Castletown.

The C and D classes will be in action on the first day and the A/B classes on the Sunday. These events will be promoted by Isle of Man Youth Trials Club.

Southern MCC is to host back-to-back rounds of the British Enduro Championship for the second time in three years.

These will be over the weekend of July 7-8, leading directly into Southern 100 week. Both days will be based at Carnagrie, near Arrasey plantation.

Peveril LC&MCC is hosting rounds five and six of the ACU Acklams Beta Ladies and Girls Trials Championship on July 28-29.

This is a fortnight after the Manx National Two Day Trial.

In addition, two rounds of the British All-Terrain Rally Championship will again take place on September 29-30, based in the north of the island.

The Manx International Classic Trial will take place on September 1-2 organised by Manx Trials Club under AMCA regulations.

Also take into account a fortnight of the TT, four days of action during the Southern 100 (not forgetting the Pre-TT Classic and Post-TT national road races, plus another packed fortnight for the Festival of Motorcycling and a myriad of domestics trials, enduros, motocross events, beach races and short circuit road racing at Jurby!
