The Fred Kelly Memorial Road Race incorporates the Isle of Man championships this Sunday.

Entries closed at midnight last night, but signing on will be at Tholt-y-Will car park from 8am.

The race will be neutralised to Sandygate crossroads and follows the Summerhill, Beehive, Jurby East, Cronk and Sandygate lap.

Race one is for seniors, masters, juniors and veterans under-50 over six laps (49 miles) including the finish climb back up Tholt-y-Will.

The shorter women’s, under-16, vets over-50 race will involve five laps of the short circuit (42 miles total, including the finish).

After the final lap, the race will turn right at Sandygate and proceed through Sulby crossroads and onto Tholt-y-Will Glen to the finish at The Bungalow.

There will be a presentation and refreshments afterwards at the Creg-Ny-Baa Hotel.
