Entries for the Microgaming Play if Forward Lighthouses Challenge Sportive on Sunday, July 8 remain open until midnight on Monday, July 2.

Promoted by SAS Events, there is a choice of distances (quarter-circle £20, semi-circle £25, full-circle £30). The full-circle is 103 miles. All finishers will receive commemorative medals.

New this year an electric bike class and another for Byegone Bikers, in which riders will be invited to wear classic kit and use their old bikes.

Riders will also receive an event T shirt, energy bar and other goodies.

The feed zones will again be at Rushen United’s ground in Port Erin, St John’s FC and Ramsey Rugby Club on Mooragh Promenade.

The start will be on Douglas Quayside, based at Bikestyle’s new emporium (soon to be opened) in the former Market Hall. There will be free parking in the car park close by for those participating.
