James Hind wrapped up his second Manx Grand Prix win inside 19 hours on Thursday lunchtime as he won the week’s second Lightweight race.
The 19-year-old broke the class lap record as he won the first Lightweight race of the week on Wednesday evening and he was on the pace again on the Yamaha TZ250 in Thursday’s three-lap race.
In windy conditions, Hind led home Paton-mounted Italian Franceso Curinga once again on corrected time but his victory wasn’t quite as comfortable as last night, with his winning margin only 11.752 seconds.
As in the first race, Dave Butler completed the podium places, 1 minute and 6.827 seconds behind Curinga in third.
Newcomer Andrea Majola came home an impressive fourth with Michael Rees and Brad Vicars completing the top six.Peel's Marc Colvin came home ninth just ahead of Port Erin's Gavin Brown in 10th.
