Round five of the Ramsey Firemen’s Road Running League takes place this evening, Thursday.

Signing on will be from 6pm in the fire station for a 7pm start. Hi-vis clothing is compulsory.

One lap 1.7 miles, three laps five miles.

The final race in the series will take place on Thursday, March 7 (best four to count). The series is sponsored by Ramsey Bakery.

All runners must wear high-visibility clothing.

l Round two of the Winter Prom Run series of runs and walks takes place this Saturday on Douglas Promenade, starting 10am.

All rounds have 2km, 5km and 10km options, subject to change if it is not possible to secure enough marshals for each event.

The series is open to all ages and abilities to take part, get fit and get active in a friendly, fun, non-competitive environment.
