Sure-sponsored Vagabonds Ladies travel to the Lake District this weekend for their first away fixture of the season to face Kendal Wasps.

Vagabonds have started the season with two convincing home wins and will be hoping to make it three from three on Saturday.

Kendal have proven to be tough opponents in past encounters and, although Vagas’ confidence is high, they are well aware of the challenge that they face and will be leaving nothing to chance ahead of the game.

Training has gone well in the week and Vagabonds head coach Ryan De La Harpe has been working the women hard to ensure they are well prepared. Team availability is good and squad selection is likely to remain the same.

The Vagabonds squad is a strong mix of experience and new blood and, following impressive first performances, Kathryn Craine and Vicki Venn will be looking to excel again.

Saturday will be a long, tough day for Vagabonds Ladies, but captain Lauren Ellison knows that a win at Kendal is achievable and has every confidence in the team.
