Tom Robinson of Stockton-on-Tees suffered serious injuries after crashing during practice for the Southern 100 International Road Races at Billown on Monday evening.

He came off his Kawasaki ZX6 at Ballawhetstone in the second 600cc session, which was immediately red-flagged.
The rider was airlifted to Noble’s Hospital by helicopter and later transferred to a hospital in the UK for further treatment, where he remains in a critical condition.
