Ellan Vannin CC’s annual Bank Holiday Sportive takes place this Monday, May 6.

Entries for the newly-sponsored Isle of Man Cycle Tours event close at midnight tonight (Wednesday, May 1) at the discounted price of £15.50, but it will be possible to ride on the day for an increased fee of £20.

The event has a choice of four courses (38km, 72km, 100km and 118km), all starting and finishing at Ramsey Rugby Club, Mooragh Park.

The shortest option (approximately 23 miles) is a flat route around the Northern Plains and is suitable for all abilities. The 72km, 100km and 118km routes have one, two and three major climbs respectively, namely Druidale, Slieau Whallian and the Sloc.
