Following Valkyrs A’s two wins from two in the PwC Mixed Premier League so far this season, they will be looking to continue that form against last year’s champions Bacchas A this weekend.
So far Valkyrs have needed to be determined and strong to win both their opening matches, but they will need to far exceed expectations to continue their winning streak this weekend. Vikings A face a dangerous Ramsey A who are still developing their young side. Vikings cannot afford any mistakes in this game as the northerners will take advantage of any chances they are given.
The final game of the day in the Premier League is an early relegation decider between Celts and Bacchas B. The winner of this contest will take early strides towards staying in this league in what is going to be a very tight relegation battle.
In Division One, Vikings B have taken a two-point advantage into this weekend following Saracens Sabres’ surprise loss to Valkyrs B last Saturday.
Vikings B play Harlequins A who are on a high after winning their first match following a 12-game losing streak extending back to last season.

Saracens Sabres will be hoping to recover this week against a strong and very capable Bacchas C side. Saracens have struggled against physical opponents so far this year and this game will certainly be another test for them.
Vikings C are aiming to get off the mark against a resurgent Valkyrs B side who have dragged themselves back into the title fight.
In Division Two, Ramsey have a derby day with Ravens facing Rookies, while Cammags will be looking to get their season kickstarted with a game against a hugely impressive Saracens Colts side.

The final game sees Valkyrs C take on relegation favourites Bacchas Colts. Do not write off the latter, however, as they are picking up speed as the season wears on and will undoubtedly get better and better. Vikings D have taken the early lead in Division Three as they top the table by one point from Bacchas D.
This weekend Vikings D facing a well-prepared Vikings Colts side that boast youth, fitness and carries with it fantastic support, therefore they are going to be a challenge for the ageing but supremely experienced D team.
