Police in the west of the island are looking for the driver who hit two parked vehicles in Peel overnight.

The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team said the vehicles, parked in the area of Fenella Terrace were hit in the early hours of Saturday morning causing extensive damage to both the car and van.

The driver which hit the vehicles did not stop however given the damage caused it is likely their vehicle also will have suffered damages.

Anyone who saw or heard anything related to the crash is asked to contact Peel police on 842208.
