Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was knocked over near Rushen Abbey.

The man was knocked over while walking on the pavement heading from Cross Four Ways into the village at about 7.45pm last night (Wednesday).
His injuries are not life threatening, however police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area and may have seen the incident.
Castletown police said the man was ’very grateful’ to a lady who stopped to assist him.
