Emergency services attended a 999 call-out to a house fire in south of the island.
Crews from Castletown and Rushen fire stations were mobilised at 8.20pm on Friday evening to a home in Ballabeg.
They arrived to find smoke issuing from the roof of the property.
A team wearing breathing apparatus team were deployed and quickly identified a fire in the attic.
This was extinguished using a hose reel and the area was checked for hot spots with a thermal imagining camera.
Crews were in attendance for about one hour.
